What is the author's style in Embraced by the Light by Betty Eadie?

This book is an autobiographical account of actual events that happened to Betty Eadie, the author. Betty went into the hospital in 1973 to have surgery and, during the course of serious complications resulting from the surgery, Betty had an experience in which she believed she died and went into a spirit world where Jesus spoke with her and shared many truths with her.
