Rashid is the GCNN cameraman who records Carpathia's encounter with Chaim at Temple Mount. When Rashid tries to pan the camera so the people can see the agonized loyalists, Carpathia commands him not to do so. Also while videotaping, Rashid falls to one knee. Carpathia tells him that he does not need to fear because he has the mark but Rashid says he has fallen because he is in pain. Later, Rashid crawls away from the camera to go to the medic lines for treatment.
