What is Erawan?

Erawan, Nok's restaurant in Yokohoma, is emblematic of the Thai tourist boom. Characters in the novel are conscious of how tourism of Thailand grows throughout the latter part of the twentieth century, and as Bangkok grows in popularity, so too does the customer base at Erawan.
