Who is the antagonist in A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings by Gabriel Garcia Marquez?

There isn't actually one person that makes up the antagonist. Feeling angry at the whole town for treating the "angel" like a side show freak is quite understandable. I would be content to let this town with their abusive and callous attitude be the antagonist.
