How do Sarah's motivations begin to evolve in Chapter Four? What does this indicate?

Sarah seems on the verge of suggesting that Hank should kill Lou to take him out of their equation, but she doesn't say that. Hank believes that's what she's about to say. The fact that Jacob does suggest it is an indication of the extent of the greed of these characters. There's no doubt that Lou is thinking the same way.
