Purpose For Life

Gregers states at the beginning of the book that he finally knows his purpose in life. Have the students each create a mission statement for themselves in which they write about what they think their mission is in life.

Saving a Wounded Duck

Gregers says he wants to be able to rescue wounded ducks that dive into lakes to die. Have the students devise some ideas and plans about how this could really be done.
