Memoirs of Zamperini

Zamperini had two memoirs written based on his life experiences, named "Devil at My Heels." The book was published twice with two different authors. Students should read one or both of these memoirs and see how it is similar and different from "Unbroken."

Students should watch an excerpt from a video on World War II in the Pacific Theater and discuss the significance of the film with the class.

Trivia

Create 20-30 trivia questions and answers in small groups. Pair up with another group and ask them the questions that you created based on the book. The trivia should include factual information, geographical questions, and other knowledge from the book.
