Objective

Objective: Act 1, Scene 1 The students will be able to draw conclusions from their reading.

1) Possible Activities:
* Have the students discuss in pairs/triads why Ma and Pa Ubu talk to each other using such crude language.
* Have the students write a paragraph describing Ma and Pa as personality types based on the interactions they have during this opening scene.
* Hold a class discussion where the students will need to draw conclusions as to why Ma would want to be queen of Poland.

Homework
