What are your opinions on the Rapture? Do you believe that it will occur? Explain. If so, how do you think it will happen? Do you feel that the beliefs of the Tribulation Force are correct? Explain. Cite academic and historical references to support your opinion.

How might the story have changed if Rayford Steele had proceeded with the affair with Hattie Durham? How might Irene have reacted if she found out about Rayford's roving eye? Do you think Irene knew?
