George had a strong relationship with his father. How would you describe the relationship between George and his father? How did the relationship help George become the man he grew up to be?

Many Japanese-Americans were haunted by the shame of the internment camps. Why did Japanese-Americans feel shame for being in the camps? Was it their fault that they were interred? Who should have felt shame for the situation?
