Lesson

1) Class discussion. What do the students think Viv looks like? What is Viv's character background? What does this chapter say about Viv's character and how does it express it? What do the students think are Viv's motivations for traveling to Florida?

2) Ask the students to write Viv's character background.

3) Ask the students to develop a scenario that puts Viv into trouble and swap their scenario with someone else. The aim is then to think how Viv's character would react in that scenario.
