Design a newspaper.

The Shadow of the Wind has numerous twists and turns and mysterious events, some of which are perfect headlines for the front page of a newspaper. Write and design a newspaper highlighting main events in the book. Use specific examples and quotes in your stories.

Write an advice column.

Daniel has his share of problems with women throughout the story. Pretend Daniel has written into your advice column for tips on how he should deal with his female relationships and the mystery of Julián.

Write an additional chapter.

The Shadow of the Wind ends very open-ended with Daniel taking his 10-year-old son to the Cemetery of Forgotten Books. Write a chapter of the book following the ending. Keep in mind elements such as what book will Julián Sempere choose, how he reacts to the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, etc?
