Objective
Celia and Marco spend their days as children training in magic. The aim of this lesson is to examine their training and the similarities and differences of their training.

Class Discussion: What does Celia do when Prospero and she meet that makes him decide to train her? How old is Celia when she meets her father? How much of Celia's abilities seemed to be training and how much innate ability? Why does Prospero ask Celia the reason why watches are wound? Where does Celia grow up? When does she quit accompanying her father everywhere? Describe some of her training exercises. What questions does the grey man ask Marco at the orphanage? How old is Marco at that time? Why doesn't the grey man want to know the boy's name? Is Marco given a choice as to whether he studies with the grey man or not...
