Lesson

1) Have students bring in examples of detective stories or movies and pictures or photos they associate with detective stories. At the beginning of class, have students show and explain their examples of detective stories. Discuss the characteristics of the different examples of detective stories. With the class, try to categorize the detective genres the students brought examples of. Which ones are similar to The Lady in the Lake? How?
