"The Imperfectionists" was written by Tom Rachman and is built around stories of staff members at an English language newspaper headquartered in Rome. Prior to reading a book, it is often helpful to know about the novelist. Rachman was born in London, England and grew up in Canada. Rachman studied at University of Toronto and Columbia University and a journalist for Associated Press. The objective of this lesson is to examine the background of Tom Rachman.
