Yule Ball

Hold a Yule Ball. Split the class into groups and have each group be in charge of one aspect of the ball, such as food, music, decor, etc. Make sure each group adds something 'magical' to their assignment.

Wands

Each witch and wizard in the book has their own specific and unique wand. Have the students create their own individual wands and write about why they chose their length, wood, and magical filler.

Spells

Have the students create a spell that they can use. Have each student present their spell along with instructions on what to say and the actions needed to complete it.

Quidditch

Play a Quidditch match with your class complete with brooms, quaffles, and hoops. This will probably need to be done outdoors or in an open space like a gym or cafeteria.
