Create A Postcard

Ask each student to create a postcard based on the book The Drowned World. The postcard can be from any location in the book, and can feature illustrations or written descriptions. Students can share their postcards with the class and discuss what they liked about the book.

Debate

Divide the class into groups and ask them to debate a topic related to the book. For example, students can debate whether the characters in the book made the right decisions, or whether they agree with the author's vision of the future. This activity will encourage students to think critically about the themes and ideas presented in the book.
