Lauren Weisberger is an American author who wrote "The Devil Wears Prada" following ten months working as an assistant to Vogue magazine's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour. Other novels published by Weisberger are "Everyone Worth Knowing" and "Chasing Harry Winston". This lesson discusses the author of the novel "The Devil Wears Prada", Lauren Weisberger.

Lesson

1) Library research: Have the students research the author, Lauren Weisberger. Explore the other works she has written, as well as her personal background. Take a look at interviews and the author's website to gain information on her writing and where "The Devil Wears Prada" fits in with her other novels.

2) Presentation: Have students get into pairs and prepare a presentation, using their research on Weisberger and her canon. Have each group read an excerpt from different novels written by Weisberger during their presentation. At the end of the presentations, have students...
