Karl Heinrich Marx

This person was a Prussian philosopher and the co-developer of Communist theory. He was one of the authors of the Manifesto of the Communist Party; in latter editions, this person is credited as the dominant contributor to that document. This person offers no biographical data in the document though preface to the 1883 German edition notes his death on March 13, 1883, and his burial at Highgate Cemetery.

Frederick Engels

This person was a German philosopher and the co-developer of Communist theory. This person was one of the authors of the Manifesto of the Communist Party.

Helen Macfarlane

This person was the translator for the first English-language printing of the Manifesto of the Communist Party in 1850. Her translation was originally published in the periodical Red Republican, published by George Julian Harney.
