Soliloquys

Have each student in class choose a favorite character from one of the stories in the collection. For each character, give the student a soliloquy from the original play. The students should read the soliloquies in class, with the rest of the class trying to figure out which play and character is speaking?

Modern Retelling

Particularly in the 1990's, directors and filmmakers chose to modernize Shakespearean plays as a means to making them more approachable to young people. Assign each student in class a story from the collection and have that student come up with and era and place where one could set the story where all the narrative beats and themes fit.
