Mystery Clues

Concoct a mystery of your own with clues and other things of that nature. This could be kind of like a scavenger hunt. Award prizes to the team who completes it first.

Strange Animals

Split the class into groups and assign each group one of the rare animals that appears in this book- i.e.: swamp adder, baboon, leopard, etc. Have each group study their animal and give a short report about their animal.

Puppet Show

Split the class into groups and assign each group one portion of this story. Have each group create a puppet show of their section to present to the class. Have them later write about why their assigned portion was so important to the plot.
