Objective

Lauren has become known to her friends and family as someone who is very reliable.

The objective of this lesson is to understand the importance of being someone who is true to your agreements and responsibilities.

Lesson

1) Initiate a class discussion on integrity. How is it a trait that has fallen largely by the wayside with the advent of technology?

2) Have each student explain in a few paragraphs or more why it is important to be a reliable person. What is it that reliable people do? What are they known for?

3) Have each student discuss the importance of reliability in an individual on both the micro and macro levels.

4) In essay form explain, how you eliminate probabilities by being reliable. What kinds of probabilities were eliminated due to Lauren's reliability? Why is this a socially valued trait?

5) For homework, describe a situation in your life where...
