2. Describe what happens in the story, "Hart of the Wood" that Riddley tells.

In the story, "Hart of the Wood," a man, woman, and child are foragers. They are having very little luck finding food. They have no weapons and no way to make fire. They are getting ready to die. A clever looking bloke comes and tells them he will make fire if they will give him something to put in the pot. The child is killed to put in the pot. The clever looking bloke makes fire, cooks the heart of the child, and eats it. Later that evening after the man and woman have eaten their child, they keep making the fire bigger and bigger. Finally they fall asleep and burn to death.
