1) Prediction: Read aloud with the class the part where we hear Chavez is Clark's son-in-law and that they work together. Have the students each write a short prediction about what this close relationship could be foreshadowing. How will this be important to the plot? Do you think it gives away too much? Why or why not? What evidence is there in the scene to support your belief? Allow some volunteers to read their ideas.
