Creative Essay

When the Pevensie children arrive in Narnia unexpectedly, they have a few items with them from England, such as Edmund's electric torch, their lunches, a pocket knife, and some matches. Students should write an essay in which they select three items they would want to have with them if they were whisked away to Narnia and explain why they chose those items.

Art Project

Students should create an original painting or drawing of either the island or the castle ruins on the island according to the descriptions found in Chapters 1-2.

C.S. Lewis gives many detailed descriptions of the more mythical Narnian characters in the book, Prince Caspian. Students should select one specific description as given in the book and do their own illustration of the character based on the description given by Lewis.
