Essay Topic 1
Infidelity plays a major role in the protagonist's life in Prey. Jack thinks that Julia is having an affair from the beginning of the story. He has no concrete evidence and yet he is nearly positive that something strange is going on. Write an essay explaining the reasons why Jack thinks that Julia is having an affair. Provide specific examples from the text to support your position.

Sacrifice is an element several of the characters experience. While some characters are more sacrificial than others, there are many instances of people trying to help each other in times of duress and need.
