Michael Holley proposes writing a book about the Patriots to Head Coach Bill Belichick in 2002 and is fairly surprised when Belichick gives him the go-ahead. The objective of this lesson is to explore the need for permission and how this permission helps Holley complete the book.

1. Class Discussion: Does Holley need permission to complete the book on Belichick and the Patriots? Why or why not? Why does Holley obtain permission? How does this permission help Holley complete his story? What advantage is Holley given as a result of having permission? What disadvantages are there in obtaining permission, if any?
