Greg prides himself on not having any friends, but it is learned that Greg had once attempted to make friends in middle school. What is his experience like as a middle school student trying to make friends? How might this have influenced his decision to avoid friends and cliques at all costs? How has Greg been affected by this lack of close friends? How might this skew his perspective on others?
