Long after Antoinette left her home country of France, she still kept in close contact with her family members and often reached out to them for advice. First, describe the relationship Antoinette had with her family once she moved to France. In what ways did Antoinette continue to keep in contact with her family even though they were hundreds of miles away? Then, choose one example of a time when Antoinette's family influenced Antoinette's rule and thus helped to shape or influence political rule in France. Be sure to include examples from the text to help strengthen your arguments.

Almost immediately after Antoinette rose to the French throne, the French economy took a huge hit leaving thousands of peasants destitute. First, describe how the French economy plummeted during Antoinette's rule and how that economic downturn affected Antoinette's popularity in France. Then, describe how Antoinette and Louis handled the regular uprisings from the French people that demanded change in power and economy.
