Objective

The aim of this lesson is to examine the life of Jesus as the students know it.

Lesson

1. Class discussion. What do the students know about Jesus' life before reading the book? How much of what they know do the students think is fact how much do they think is based on myth? How much influence do the students think ideas about Jesus' life have had on modern society? Do the students think Jesus' life has had too much influence on modern society?

2. Ask the students to write what they know of Jesus life in 300 words. End the lesson by comparing what the students' work.

3. Divide the students into groups of three and ask them to devise a list of questions and interview other students and teachers about what they know about Jesus' life. The students should then collate the results and devise a series of...
