Objective

Erik Larson was born in 1954 and has written several books. "In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and An American Family in Hitler's Berlin" is his most recent book published in May 2011. Dodd was a features writer for The Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine and he has been published in The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, Harper's and other publications. Larson grew up in Long Island and has moved frequently. Larson studied at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Russian history and then he attended the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. The objective of this lesson is to discuss the significance of Erik Larson.
