Scavenger Hunt.

Students will create a question scavenger hunt for the book. Students will be divided into groups and be asked to come up with questions about the book and list the page numbers where the answers can be found. Groups will exchange scavenger huntlists and search for the answers.

Vocabulary Word Find.

Students will create a word find using the vocabulary words from the book. The word find can be a traditional square, or can be shaped creatively. The word find must be accompanied by a list of the vocabulary words used.

Diorama.

Students will create a diorama of their favorite setting in the book. The diorama can be created in a box, or on a flat plane. The focus of this project is to show the details of the setting. Students will then write a short description about the setting and how the setting affected the...
