Clytemnestra

This character is married to a king who is at war. When her husband has their daughter sacrificed, she plots to kill him. After murdering her husband, she rules Mycenae with a former hostage.

Orestes

This character is the son of a king and queen. He is kidnapped and spends years with two another kidnapped boys when they escape their captors. When he returns to his home, he murders his mother and becomes a silent character in the palace.

Electra

This character is the youngest daughter of the king and queen. After her father is murdered, she is locked in the dungeon. She plays the dutiful daughter until her mother is murdered. Then she assumes some command.

Aegisthus

This character is known as an assassin and he has been a hostage in Mycenae. He rules when the king is murdered. Later he is kept alive for his knowledge...
