Chapters 1 through 6- From the beginning of the book, the theme of death plays an integral role in the central conflict of the book and the actions of its characters. Here, death is the only thing on most characters' minds and their experiences with death greatly influence the way they interact with others and view the world. This lesson will discuss the concept of death that is presented in the book.

Lesson
