Character Collages

Pick a main character, then make a collage from magazine clippings, drawings, catalogs, etc. to describe the character´s personality and appearance.

Cartoon Plot

Pick a particular event from the story to make a short cartoon of 1-4 frames. Reinterpret the event as a cartoon so that it is humorous but is accurate to the story.

Object or Character Pictionary

The teacher needs to make a set of cards that each have an object or character from the story. Divide the class into teams and have the teams take turns with a drawer at the board. The teacher should select a card and carefully show it only to the drawers at the board.
