Talking Heads

There are many places in this story where what is said is very different from the character's actual opinions and feelings. Select a conversation in which this is true. In a word balloon above each character, write what was actually said. In a cloud above each character, write what you believe they were really thinking.

Interview

Select a classmate to interview and develop four or five questions to ask them about this book. Possible questions might be, "Did you have any unanswered questions when you finished reading this book?" "Did anything surprise you as you read this book?" When you finish recording your classmate's answers, write a paragraph describing your classmate's review of the book.
