Fallout is the third novel in the Crank series, a series of books about Kristina Snow, a young girl who while visiting her drug addicted father was introduced to crank. Although Kristina tried repeatedly to break the addiction, she failed and continues to be an addict. Author Ellen Hopkins is a New York Times bestselling novelist popular among teenage and young adult audiences. In this lesson, students are introduced to the book and series. They will research and discuss the biography and works of Ellen Hopkins.
