Objective: Act 1 Scene 1 This book is based on an autobiographical book. The objective of this lesson will be to review some major aspects of Anne Frank's life and to discuss how having this book partially autobiographical affects the plot and the feeling of the book.

1) Provide a brief overview of Anne Frank's life along with some of the major events in her life. Split the class into groups and assign each group one of the major events from her life. Instruct each group to study their event and write about how this event would have shaped her life and affected her writing style. Allow each group to present their information.
