This object was released by a former boyfriend of Daisy's, and its popularity was largely due to the lyrics Daisy had written, for which she was never given credit. Later, Daisy told this story to Billy and he was sympathetic. "If I had a great line like that, and someone else pretended it was theirs, I'd be pretty angry. She made more sense to me after that" (162).
