Objective: Prologue: The Story So Far In the previous novels of the trilogy, Beauty was a sex slave who was kidnapped from the Village and sent to another kingdom. In this new kingdom, she serves the sultan. In The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty is awakened with a kiss by the prince raping her. He likes her, and he takes her to his kingdom to serve as a naked princess. When she rebels against the prince's orders, she is sent to the village where she is sold and then kidnapped. The sultan's men kidnapped her so that she can serve the sultan. This lesson will focus on the events leading up to Beauty's current situation and the purpose of the prologue.
