The Law and Judgment

Divide the class into three groups. Pick one member from each group to act as a sage from the Sanhedrin. Have the sages lead each group in a game of Simon Says. After the game, discuss how it made everyone feel to either lead or follow the others.

Guess Who?

Write the names of characters from the book on note cards. Without looking, pick one note card and tape it to your back. Ask yes or no questions about your character's identity to see if you can guess your character.

Telephone, Cellphone, Cellophane!

Pick five characters from the book and quotations for each that summarize their appearance or personality. Gather in a circle and have one student pick the first quotation. That student must whisper the quotation to the next student, and so on. The last person must say the quote out loud and...
