Local Vet

Invite a local veterinarian to come and share with the class, preferably one who has a practice that is open to large animals.

Farmer Roles

If there are local farms in the area, try to contact local farmers or agricultural extensive service agents from your area to come in and tell the students about their particular role in farming in the area.

Medical Time Line

Have each student do a visual time line for one breed of large animal and show potential medical and nutritional needs those animals have. Share time lines with the class.
