Donald Trump was the third child of Fred Trump, a Brooklyn housing developer. A bright and energetic child, Trump bordered on being a brat. Following the seventh grade, Trump was sent by his father to the New York Military Academy to straighten out. While attending the academy, Donald spent his spare time at construction sites and renovating old houses.
