What do you get when you combine the supernatural ideas of Stephen King, life on Death Row and an amazing cast of actors? The Green Mile. The story is that of Paul Edgecomb's experience working on Death Row, where he comes face to face with the supernatural in the form of John Coffey and his healing powers.

Paul begins telling his story to his friend Elaine while in a nursing home. He tells of his experience working on Death Row and how John was wrongly accused of a horrible crime. John heals both Paul and the Warden's wife while administering justice to a few other people. John, at one point, has to transfer some of his power to Paul, and now Paul is 108 years old with no hope of dying anytime soon. John's kindness and power is inspiring to viewers.
