Description

Laura Hunt is a beautiful woman with whom every man seems to fall in love. She is working in advertising when she meets Waldo Lydecker and the two become good friends. She eventually meets Shelby Forrester and becomes engaged to him. The two are to be married a week after her alleged death.

The night of her death Laura is planning to go to her cabin in the country to think about whether she should marry Shelby. Although everyone believes her to be dead, she returns a few days before she was to be married.
