Brazilian Slavery and the Events of Rebellion

Summary: The slave trade was a big market in South America, especially in Brazil. Purchasers of slaves preferred to own people who were strong and healthy. In Brazil, slaves were used both on plantations and in towns. Life for the slaves was a difficult one and was very rough and rugged for them.
Many significant changes have occurred after the conquest of Mexico and the people of Latin America. The Indigenous people had to change their ways of life because of the white dominance that was upon them. This difference in race caused hegemony among the people which inevitably led to the enslavement of the African and Indigenous people. The Spanish and Portuguese had a more prolific lifestyle from the expense of the slaves' misery. The African people were brought out of their homeland and forced to carry our laborious duties for a small sum of money. Working conditions were the poorest possible and treatment of the slaves was equivalent to that of animals, sometimes even worse.
