Summary: A short biography of the author Dan Brown and a discussion of his works, including the popular The Da Vinci Code. Although his insightful work has met with criticism as well as admiration, Brown has quickly become one of the most noted contemporary writers today.
Despite the fact that Dan Brown's career as an author has only just begun, he has already written four best-selling novels. The most widely known of these, and one of my all-time favorite books, is The Da Vinci Code. Brown was recently named one of the World's 100 Most Influential People by TIME Magazine, and has made various appearances on news shows and in magazines. Although Dan Brown's writing is loved by some and criticized by others, there is no denying that he has quickly become one of the most admired contemporary writers.

Dan Brown was born in Exeter, New Hampshire on June 22, 1964. His father, Dick Brown, was a Presidential Award-winning math teacher at the Phillips Exeter Academy, where Dan later attended school.
