“You’re” is an eighteen-line free-verse poem by American confessional poet Sylvia Plath. It was originally published in Harper’s magazine in 1961, then later appeared in Plath’s full-length collection Ariel. The poem uses a list format of similes to explore the speaker’s attitude towards pregnancy.
