“Wendy, Waiting” is a seven-stanza free-verse poem by American poet Sandi Leibowitz. It first appeared in Uncanny Magazine in 2019. The poem takes place within the world of JM Barrie’s Peter and Wendy, and follows the female protagonist through middle and old age.
