“Update on Werewolves” is a free-verse speculative poem by Canadian author and poet Margaret Atwood. It was first shared on Atwood’s Wattpad account in 2012 and compiled in the chapbook Thriller Suite in 2014, then later in her full-length collection Dearly in 2020. The poem uses werewolves as a metaphor for the ascension and wildness of women.
